Mark Kerr has over 15 years’ experience in the field of NHS management, specialising in Performance Management and NHS Dental Contract Management.

His extensive NHS experience includes:

• Performance management of a portfolio of General Dental Services (GDS) and contractors

• Advisory role for payments agency, contractors and public

• Undertaking practice inspections to confirm suitable clinical and management policies and processes in place

• Analysis of performance data

• Identification of contractual issues and agreement of remedial actions with contract holders

• Lead on the Foundation Dental Trainee scheme with Health Education England

• Liaised with support agencies to transfer knowledge of the dental payments system

• Being an acknowledged expert in the use and working of the NHS Dental Services Compass payment system.

 

He left NHS England and launched IMK Associates, a consultancy firm offering a bespoke service to help NHS Dental Contractors deal with the complex requirements of the NHS Dental contract, the NHS payment system and legislation.
